The Administrative Clerk performs general clerical support for the Work Control Center to include answering Service Desk operations phone calls, processing work orders and utilizing the work management system. The clerk receives, prints, and issues emergency, urgent, and routine direct scheduled work orders reviewing for completeness and accuracy. The clerk monitors dispatch radios and dispatches shop personnel by use of radio for emergency and urgent service orders. The clerk maintains all facility history files to include filing of all completed work documents, warranties and all other pertinent information pertaining to each facility. The clerk provides customers with current status on service orders within one hour of receipt of request. The clerk maintains and files the "After Hours Call-In Report." The clerk generates in-house Work Request documents as they are received from customers. The clerk monitors all emergency "crash phone" operations and fire department direct line during emergencies and exercises.
