The role of Supply Manager II is directly responsible for the management and oversight of their assigned material groups (MG) within Indirect Procurement. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing suppliers (selection, on-boarding/off-boarding, on-going performance), contracts (review, execution, storage, renewal), projects (internal and external), and financial analysis per MG. Additionally, incumbents are expected to drive continuous improvement in purchasing processes, spend, and policies on a local and global level.

As the Supply Manager, you will partner with various departments across the organization to assess spend and develop/implement sourcing strategies through supporting project roadmaps. You will analyze supply market conditions, assisting immediate and senior management teams in developing organizational and market strategies for growth. You will also deliver continuous improvements for the organization through the implementation of effective purchasing processes, procedures, policies and controls. Monitor & offer improvements to Hilti's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and web-based purchasing architectures.
The Supply Manager will structure highly effective contracts in concert with global Hilti supply management teams. Negotiate major supply contracts within a matrix team environment to improve quality, service levels, or cost. You will pursue and leverage strategic Supplier Partnerships that provide increased efficiencies, access to new resources, and enhanced sales. You will also take personal ownership for supplier selection, quality, and performance. Execute via a Supplier Relations Management (SRM) strategy (in a growth/expansion environment) that includes on-going management through leading quarterly business reviews.
