Who We Need

The Air Force Supply Chain Management SME advises and assists in the development of supply chain management solutions in support of the modernization of policies, processes and supporting technologies applied to the planning, management and disposition of Air Force inventory. This SME will be expected to analyze data, develop, coordinate, and support the implementation of policies, facilitate functional reviews, and develop modernization initiatives. First-hand experience with core Air Force logistics systems, organizations, policies, and processes to specifically include an assortment of the following:

  • Request for Deviation/Waiver (RFD/RFW)
  • Screening Analysis Worksheet (SAW)
  • Contract Repair Screening Analysis Worksheet (CR-SAW)
  • Engineering Data List (EDL)
  • Manufacturer Qualification Requirements (MQR)
  • Source Approval Request (SAR)

What You'll Do

  • Function as internal IT requirements gatherer and process/product owner
  • Support policy reviews and updates
  • Facilitate functional reviews
  • Coordinate and provide functional input to information system requirement/design meetings
  • Analyze legacy supply chain data
  • Facilitate and support working groups
  • Evolve working supply chain modernization solutions
  • Supports coworkers and clients during project work

Your Qualifications

Required

  • US Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience building MS Office documents and briefings
  • Experience delivering presentations to clients
  • Experience at command-level staff and installation-level logistics readiness
