Job Summary

  • Generates clinically acceptable treatment plans utilizing clinical knowledge of anatomy and physiology; radiation biology and oncology; radiation safety, physics and technology.
  • Understands appropriate billing practices for physics and dosimetry procedures.

Qualifications

Education

  • Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiation Therapy as approved by the American College of Radiology, American Medical Association and the committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation
  • Certified Medical Dosimetrist or completion of an accredited medical dosimetry training program, or appropriate clinical experience to be eligibe to take CMD examination

Experience

  • 3 years experience as a radiation therapist preferred and 2 years of full time clinical experience in dosimetry under the direct supervision of a Medical Physicist

Compensation

  • $92,976 - $151,403 annually based on previous work experience
