Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Broken Arrow, OK. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Perform a variety of tasks in production wiring/harness assembly.
  • Product material knowledge to include wires (stranded, solid, shielded), shrink wrap, power cabling, wire ties, connectors, switches, pots, terminals, panels, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Performs wire prep (cutting and labeling) harness assembly on layout boards; integration of harnesses onto panels, assemblies, and cabinets; and wire troubleshooting.
  • Occasionally conduct manufacturing inspections by quality specifications.
  • Disassembled, modified, reworked, reassembled, and tested prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
  • Will have an interface with Quality Inspection and Engineering.
  • Comply with all company security and data protection/usage policies and procedures.
  • Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form.
  • Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not needing to know.
  • Shall not divulge information outside the company without management approval.
  • All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company-provided resources.

Pay: $22.00 / hr.

Hours: 9/80 hrs/Week (1st shift)

Length: CONTRACT (12 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of Maritime, aviation, or telecom experience.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Possess the ability to understand schematics, wire lists, wire diagrams, and assembly drawings.
  • Knowledge needed in electrical termination and repair.
  • Past certification or knowledge of IPC-620 and IPC-610.
  • Have wiring aptitude.
  • Possess meticulous attention to detail - taking a customer's point of view.
  • Knowledge in or willingness to commit to learning Lean concepts and practices.
  • Have Soldering skills & working knowledge of IPC training - if fully certified

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Occasionally be called upon to travel in support of field installations and upgrades.
  • Able to lift or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Able to work overtime.
  • Occasional travel is needed.
