Job Summary	Job Summary Applies basic and some advanced technical skills and knowledge to install, maintain and repair complete ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems used in manufacturing plant and office applications. Performs electrical and mechanical servicing and maintenance of HVAC systems for the physical plant in accordance with federal regulations and company polices and procedures. Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities Assists in initial installation and start up of complete systems, including system components, electrical controls, and ducting. Assists in the design, modification, installation and preventive/predictive maintenance planning. Participates as a member of the Emergency Response Team. Monitors HVAC systems and operations and ensures routine preventative maintenance is performed according to established schedules. Diagnoses HVAC systems and makes repairs as required. Performs repairs of complete systems to include repairing or replacing values, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring fans, pumps, compressors, piping and other functional components of the system. Performs maintenance duties within other maintenance disciplines to include repair of electrical malfunctions, assembly, installation and repair of machines, pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and sewer systems. Performs alterations, repairs, and maintenance of buildings, floors, roofs, stairways, partitions, doors, windows, screens, scaffolding forms, wood fixtures, and furniture. Reports suspected and confirmed problems relating to equipment, utilities, structures, and grounds to immediate supervisor. Inputs maintenance and repair actions into equipment logs. Promotes safety and quality in primary discipline, and assists in the monitoring and quality control of projects being performed by outside contractors. Performs other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications and departments other than the primary assignment.
Minimum Qualifications	Education Requirements Minimum Vocational / Technical. If applicable, a combination of experience and training may be substituted for the education requirement. Experience Requirements 2 year(s) HVAC maintenance. Skills and Competencies Working knowledge of HVAC systems and general mechanical maintenance disciplines. Able to use safety equipment required by Title 29 CFR 1910, all parts. Possesses a valid State of Oklahoma Driver License. Provides basic hand tools and uses them properly.
Skills and Work Requirements
Physical Requirements	Physical Requirements Must be able to work in excess of eight (8) hours per day and five (5) days per week, if required. Additionally, those who work at NORDAM Repair Division must be able to ascend and descend stairs. Work Environment	Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the Stakeholder is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment can vary from loud to a more moderate level.
Supervision	Supervision Works with regular supervision. Follows standard written or oral instructions. May need additional assistance for more complex tasks.
