Position Summary:

Supports commodity manager(s) to deliver timely and cost-effective procurement of logistics and service delivery categories within Global Sourcing. Brings project co-ordination /leadership to internal stakeholders and commodity manager(s) in the development of the commodity sourcing strategies. Co-ordinates RFP/RFQ activity in conjunction with stakeholders and global purchasing support. Negotiates pricing and contractual terms. Engages legal, insurance and risk management teams as required. Responsible for cost savings management and implementation of Best-In-Class purchasing and reporting tools

Duties:

• Help develop and execute the overall Lexmark sourcing strategy for logistics and service delivery.
• Develop and executes negotiations with key suppliers, including negotiation on cost and contractual terms.
• Build market and commodity knowledge to support the development and execution of regular monthly reporting (commodity dashboard)
• Develop a seamless communication process with internal stakeholders and global purchasing support to ensure Purchase Order and SOW execution is consistent with Global Sourcing policies and terms and conditions.
• Subject matter expert on Lexmark tools and processes. Work with internal stakeholders and commodity managers to develop and implement Ariba solutions to ensure pricing compliance to contract.
• Responsible for contract lifecycle management; including verbiage negotiation, coordination of internal and external signatures, and properly cataloging documents within Lexmark systems.
• Co-ordinate with legal and executive teams to ensure that Lexmark is receiving Best-In-Class terms on logistics and services purchases and that any exposure/risk is understood and minimized. Advise executives on risk and associated risk mitigation strategies.
• Engage with legal to develop and apply consistent contractual terms and conditions across the supply chain.
• Develop plans to support, and deliver against, Global Sourcing financial performance objectives for the commodities.
• Project manage and close open issues.
• Identifies and implement process improvements.

Experience:

• Bachelor Degree
• 1-3 yrs of procurement experience preferred.
• International business experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills
• Experience in technology/market road-mapping, strategy development and implementation.
• Ability to develop a contractual strategy to develop a Go-To-market strategy.
