Governance Consultant Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Governance Consultant Manager to lead our team of consultants in delivering high-impact transformation projects for our federal client. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex initiatives, driving organizational change, and fostering collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Governance Consultant Manager: Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Governance Consultant Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct in-depth research and stakeholder interviews to assess the effectiveness of current governance processes, boards, and committees within the organization.
  • Synthesize research findings into a comprehensive analysis to provide insights and recommendations for the design of updated governance processes.
  • Develop clear and compelling presentations for senior executives, effectively communicating research findings and soliciting input to inform decision-making.
  • Provide support in designing enhanced governance processes based on research findings and leadership direction.
  • Facilitate collaborative design sessions with government stakeholders to refine proposed governance options and recommendations, fostering engagement and consensus-building.
  • Develop detailed proposals outlining recommended approaches, implementation timelines, resource needs, and risk assessments.
  • Support leadership decision-making processes regarding proposed governance reforms, providing expert guidance and insight into potential impacts.
  • Assist in the implementation of approved governance reforms, including the development of comprehensive project plans, documentation, and change management strategies.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of governance processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending adjustments.
  • Provide ongoing support for enterprise-level executive governance functions, including agenda setting, meeting facilitation, and documentation.
  • Facilitate the rollout of new governance structures and ensure alignment with the reformed governance model.
  • Conduct periodic assessments of governance reform efforts, proactively identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.

Governance Consultant Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Master's degree in business, management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in leading and managing Governance projects in a federal government environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • GRC certification/GRCP certification is desirable.
  • Proficiency in leading and managing organizational change initiatives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective Governance strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
