The director of health equity and inclusion is responsible for leading and implementing strategies that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the health care organization. The director will oversee the development and evaluation of policies, programs, and practices that foster a culture of respect, belonging, and social justice. The director will also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address health disparities and improve health outcomes for underserved and marginalized populations.

* Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in public health, social work, health administration, or related field preferred.
* At least five years of experience in leading and managing health equity and inclusion programs and initiatives in a health care setting.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of health equity and inclusion principles, concepts, and frameworks.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse and multidisciplinary teams.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data and evidence to inform and evaluate strategies and actions.
* High level of cultural competency, sensitivity, and awareness, with the ability to interact respectfully and inclusively with people of different backgrounds, identities, and experiences.
* Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with the willingness to seek and provide feedback and challenge the status quo.
* Passion for advancing health equity and inclusion and creating positive social change.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships and foster collective action across diverse stakeholders, sectors, and disciplines.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify opportunities and solutions for advancing health equity and inclusion goals.
Leadership and advocacy skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence others to embrace health equity and inclusion values and principles and take action for change.
