Job Summary

Reports to the Administrative Director of Risk Management and Compliance, Privacy Officer, & ComplianceOfficer.
Is a member of the management team and interacts with the Executive Team, as necessary. Primaryresponsibilities include the daily operations of the Compliance Program. Coordinates, schedules, and performscompliance audits based on the annual OIG Work Plan, compliance concerns/complaints, etc. Developseducational materials to keep staff updated on changes in the compliance guidelines.
Monitors compliance withthe OIG Excluded Providers List. Acts as a resource to staff on compliance issues and questions.
Responsible forassisting with privacy concerns, complaints, and investigations, developing HIPAA Privacy educational materials,policy review and updates, etc. Also responsible for contract review, and assistance with MediTract.


Qualifications

EDUCATION

Juris Doctorate Degree from an ABA-accredited law school

EXPERIENCE

One to four years experience in hospitals and healthcare preferred

A strong knowledge or desire to learn healthcare compliance, contracting, Stark, AKS, FCA, required.

Certified in Healthcare Compliance or eligible and willing to obtain certification.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Admission to the Oklahoma bar, or admission within six months of hire.

OTHER KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Excellent organizational, writing, and time management skills.
Effective and professional oral communication skills.
Excellent analytical and negotiating ability.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives.
High degree of personal integrity, sound judgment and a commitment to accountability
