Under the supervision of the Employee Engagement Manager, the specialist will play a critical role in fostering a positive and healthy work environment at Family & Children's Services. The Specialist will support the implementation of strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall well-being. The specialist will support wellness strategies by assisting in administering and maintaining wellness challenges, activities, and materials. Specialists will also be responsible for supporting the administration of student loan repayment programs. The specialist will support onboarding and orientation activities through the maintenance of materials and support of the agency's onboarding program and positions.
POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and Create Employee Wellness Opportunities:
- Collaborate with external partners to build and maintain wellness activities
- Manage program materials
- Calendarize wellness strategy
- Collect data and participate in the evaluation of program data
Assist in the Employee Feedback Process:
- Administer surveys
- Provide synthesized data of feedback provided through pulse, topical, and onboarding surveys
- Assist in the feedback loop to agency personnel
Assist in the Administration of Student Loan Forgiveness Programming:
- Assist with site renewals for the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) and Oklahoma Health Corps application cycles
- Become a subject matter expert on student loan forgiveness programs that support Family & Children's staff
- Assist in the completion of staff employment verifications (public service loan forgiveness, NHSC, and OK Health Corps)
Coordinate Staff Appreciation Activities & Awards
- Assist in creating and maintaining an annualized calendar for staff appreciation events.
- Facilitate the tracking and monitoring of employee data for service awards
- Maintain staff records related to awards
- Order and maintain materials for service awards events/projects
Support Agency Onboarding and Orientation Activities:
- Maintain and update materials used for these purposes
- Support and train key onboarding personnel across the agency
- Assist in the creation and refinement of materials for onboarding through collaboration with the Clinical Training Department
Assist in the Administration of Work Groups, Advisory Councils, and Technology Resources:
- Provide administrative support to the HR Manager of Employee Engagement for agency initiatives
- Assist in the maintenance of HR-related websites and content
Special Projects:
- Provide support to the HR department on special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Seek new ways to improve Human Resources processes
- Participate in the accreditation process as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field
EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of experience in HR with a focus on employee engagement and/or wellness preferred
- Project management experience is preferred but not required.
