The Position

Job TitleRegional Retail Trainer

Job Description

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the analysis, development, and delivery of training on various topics and programs, and ensuring training needs are met throughout the organization.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Delivers moderately complex Training to all Retail positions
  • As needed, supports training for Loan Assistant, Loan Officer, Treasury Management Officer, Credit Analyst.
  • Develops instructor led training content as appropriate for situation using standard development techniques
  • Designs learning interventions to support the Community Banks, including developing job aids, hosting in person training, hosting webinars, and other delivery solutions.
  • Completes basic needs and task analysis to determine correct performance solution for Community Banks located within region.
  • Establishes and implements learning plans for Retail, including new hire training, continuing education, and career development. Consults with Community Banks on learning needs for individual employees.
  • Provide mentorship to retail employees through visits to the Community Bank.
  • Schedules and tracks all training events using existing LMS. Responsible for the reporting accuracy of the supported banking organization.
  • Develops basic eLearning content as appropriate, following standard development processes and meeting departmental standards.
  • Serves as a project support for various projects as requested or required.
  • Assists with the analysis, design, development, delivery, and evaluation of other training projects as requested.
  • Evaluates training, learning, and performance results to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of delivered solutions.
  • Partners with Community Bank leadership to establish priorities and deliver highly effective and efficient learning solutions.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists with large scale training events as required
  • Collaborates with Regional Retail Training Team and Learning & Development on projects impacting the bank.
  • Assists with employee onboarding when requested.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 3 Years Work Experience
  • Previous relevant experience (teaching, public speaking, coaching, others) preferred
  • Banking Knowledge Required

Technical/Functional Competencies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Publisher, & Excel
  • Basic Understanding of Audio/Visual Principles and Adult Learning Theory
  • Distance learning experience preferred
