This position is located in the Optima, OK Area.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY: The Biogas Technician must work in a team environment to accomplish the operations and maintenance objectives identified by Seaboard Energy Management. They are responsible for the safe and proper operation, maintenance, and repairs of the Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) facilities' mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • * Monitor/Operate the RNG facilities, identify issues, and make necessary changes to ensure steady operations of the facilities
  • * Understand and support QSH&E goals, objectives, and ongoing improvement plans and activities.
  • * Perform work orders and ensure all maintenance work is done by established safety rules.
  • * Perform calibrations and repair of PH sensors, Pressure, Temperature, and Flow transmitters
  • * Ensure proper record keeping of calibrations in equipment data files.
  • * Perform preventive maintenance on fresh water and effluent systems, air systems, heat exchangers, and pumps
  • * Maintain compressors, motors, pumps, and valves associated with operations.
  • * Must be able to diagnose and repair electrical power and control systems.
  • * Use tools ranging from common hand tools and power tools to precision measuring instruments and electronic testing devices
  • * Must be on a rotating on-call schedule

REQUIREMENTS:

  • * High School diploma.
  • * 1+ years of experience in chemical or petrochemical environment preferred.
  • * Previous experience in the gas compression field preferred.
  • * Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret in the English language correspondence, general business reports, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, or reports.
  • * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of customers and visitors.
  • * Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lift 50 lbs occasionally. Must be able to move from place to place. Must be able to climb ladders or platforms. Must be able to wear all safety and production-related equipment.
