Job Description

As a Supply Chain Planning Manager, you will attain the reliability and efficiency of Bio-Rad's Quality Systems Controls portfolio. You'll work within our Clinical Diagnostics Group and collaborate with worldwide Distribution, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain leaders to establish and implement best practices that allow us to deliver a best-in-class experience for our customers. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Planning, you'll balance the production supply plan with the demand for our full portfolio of Quality Systems products, taking ownership of inventory and obsolescence management; rough-cut capacity, supply, and new product launch planning; and product availability. With your strong supply planning knowledge and experience leading a team, you'll drive solutions that focus on process improvement using the system and build up your team to high standards of performance.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Develop a team of Supply Chain Planners and future leaders through exemplary modeling of accountability, thought leadership, formal training, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Execute S&OP Supply reviews and meetings for internal stakeholders to achieve supply plan optimization.
  • Ensure that all Business Planning tools used in Supply, and Sales & Operations are accurate, updated, maintained and available for use by key users and top management for decision making.
  • Position Bio-Rad to reliably deliver lifesaving products for our customers by collaborating with the operations team to develop monthly master production schedule to fulfill customer demand.
  • Lead Process improvement initiatives within Supply Chain Planning including best practices sharing to improve forecast accuracy and inventory optimization. Identify and address process or system gaps/issues to drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field. MBA is a plus. APICS certification is a plus.
  • 7+ years' experience in supply chain planning and inventory management.
  • Advanced understanding of ERP & Planning (DRP) software systems with the ability to optimize settings and performance - knowledge of SAP strongly preferred, Kinaxis experience a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead through influence across various levels of an organization.
  • Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills.
  • Understanding of LEAN concepts preferred.
  • APICS certification a plus.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $149,000 - $204,800 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
