Position Title:Community Health Impact Program Manager

Department:Marketing & PR

Job Description:

The Community Impact Program Manager provides administrative oversight for OU Health's community impact investments and allocations process. They engage diverse stakeholders and partners to efficiently and effectively address community needs and priorities. This is accomplished by managing complex issues and working to achieve desired results. They are able to gather, interpret, and use relevant data to drive strategy development and facilitate change. The Community Impact Program Manager is a leader who takes the initiative to address key priorities and drives collective community outcomes. This position also interacts with nonprofits and the general public and fosters positive working relationships at the local and regional levels with key partners under the direction of the Director of Community Relations and Strategic Programs.

  • Provides administration and coordination for community impact investments and allocations process.
  • Oversees program funding process in alignment with strategic outcomes
  • Communicates with and executes upon tactics with existing partners and nonprofits to promote a positive public image.
  • Works with the Director of Community Partnerships to creatively execute upon a comprehensive sponsorship and donation strategy from conception through implementation.
  • Integrates and executes upon the integration of community partnership opportunities within marketing strategies.
  • Ensures execution of all deliverables within community partnership contracts.
  • Executes the day-to-day implementation of community sponsorships and partnerships including events, budgeting, and daily partnership communications
  • Coaches and mentors community partners through constructive feedback
  • Manages conflict and tensions between collaboration and competition and works constructively to resolve conflict by advancing win-win solutions
  • Assesses community need and aspirations by actively engaging with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Works inclusively with individuals, partners and organizations to act on common goals across various demographics and exhibits cultural competence.
  • Researches, develops, and evaluates progress toward Board established goals and metrics. Describes results and progress to the larger community with authenticity, clarity, and transparency.
  • Researches best practices and new developments in nonprofit sector, including evidence-based programming in other communities. Is able to distill complex information and ask insightful and provocative questions.
  • Develops knowledge and interfaces with other community data and needs assessments

Other Responsibilities:

  • Works with Director of Community Relations to support existing initiatives and implement new projects as directed, including special initiatives and partnership opportunities.
  • Creates a positive image - is enthusiastic, positive, charismatic, and can generate trust of partners.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, non-profit management, human services, or business preferred.

Experience: 3 or more years of professional work experience required. 2 or more years of marketing or community non-profit experience preferred.

Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Required: Valid driver's license and the ability to be insured by OU Health automobile liability insurance carrier.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Problem solving and project management skills.

* Excellent verbal and written communication and critical thinking skills.

* Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office tools.
