Job summary: As the Director of Project Management, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing all project management activities within FCS. This position is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The director will be instrumental in aligning project management processes with business objectives and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement project management plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to maximize their potential and performance.
  • Provide oversight and direction to project manager(s), ensuring projects are initiated, planned, executed, monitored, and closed in accordance with established processes and best practices.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and ensure alignment with business requirements and priorities.
  • Allocate resources effectively to ensure projects are adequately staffed with the right skills and expertise to deliver results efficiently.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues to minimize potential impact on project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor project performance, track progress, and identify areas for improvement, and take proactive measures to address any deviations from plans.
  • Facilitate clear and transparent communication among project teams, stakeholders, and leadership, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and key decisions.
  • Implement quality management processes and standards to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the project management function, fostering innovation, efficiency, and best practice adoption
  • Provide reports on project status, specifically projects at risk of not being completed timely to EVP of CQI and to Executive Leadership Team as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field is required; Master's degree preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 or more years' experience in project management, preferably in the healthcare or behavioral health sector
  • Experience leading a project management team preferred

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

  • Project Management certification preferred
  • Must possess a valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record and use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office. Proof of automobile insurance required.

SAFETY SENSITIVE JOB CLASSIFICATION:

This job is classified as a "safety-sensitive" position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act. Due to the "safety-sensitive" classification, an employee in this position would be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening. Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana per the Family & Children's Services Drug Free Workplace Policy, including possible revocation of a job offer or dismissal from employment.
